I'd recommend to anyone with an interest in the Fae. I look forward to more books from Mr.Fitzgerald.

Well. My gram was from Ireland and spoke of Elementals until she checked out. I enjoyed reading Fitzgerald's take on Elementals and others things. I recommend this book.
This book covers an interesting subject, one that deserves further investigation. However, it needed at least one more trip to the editor before going to print. Sentences and paragraphs repeat, and, in my opinion, Fitzgerald writes with a too familiar tone.

I also disliked that the subject matter was broad, rather than deep. The book is just over 200 pages, and covers a wide variety of topics with only a brief sketch of how they are related. I'd rather a book about just the lost lands, or underground phenomenon, or fairy/alien abductions.

It's an interesting point of view, and fascinating subject. The overall execution of it was painful to read.
Enjoyed every part of this book. Wonderful story teller. I would love to see and read more of his books
Barry shares some very interesting stories, both his win and from those he interviewed, and shares some interesting insights about these stories. A great introduction to the idea of other realities!
Love his storytelling and adventures - he always has an investigative approach and an open mind to paranormal phenomena. Already buying another Barry book!
Having grown up in a mining town, I was intrigued by Mr. Fitzgerald's theory that elemental entities share our world and don't think we are the best of neighbors. Underground, and other places such as forests and burial mounds, are their territory and we seem to be encroaching on it more and more.
I read the book over 2 nights and found it very well-written, with humor and chills. At its conclusion, I felt vaguely uneasy. Maybe UFOs and ghosts aren't what we should be worried about as much as those who inhabit the world with us.
